NO EXIT explores a a lighthearted, almost macabre character, taking the form of a dance that keeps slipping in the direction of something darker. Contrary to what the title suggests, the piece has little to do with Jean-Paul Sartre’s work. One thing the piece does take from Sartre a cynical view of life that ultimately demands a fun and light-hearted outlook.
